The Kingston University Cheerleading Squad is one of the many clubs run by the Kingston University Student Union. Each club is run by a committee, chosen by the team, that is overseen by the Union of Kingston Students.
Candidates nominate themselves for each position, and do a presentation to the team on why they would be good for the role. The team then votes on who they want on each position, and elects who they want for the roles.
The committee runs the club and organises training, payment and fees, the calendar, competitions, fundraising and volunteer events and much more.
We are coached by All Star professional coaches who compete at levels 4 and 5 for Surrey Starlets, Our blues coach is an alumni of Kingston University. Our Golds coach is an athlete for Team England and has achieved World Championship.
Many of our alumni go on to join the Surrey Starlets and many other all star teams after graduation, to continue their cheer leading pathway.
